Piotr Malach
At work. I had graduated from the law at the University of Gdańsk in 1999 and afterwards I completed a prosecutor’s and legal adviser’s apprenticeships. For several years I was a legal advisor; for the last 10 years I am an attorney at law. I also graduated from the School of German Law organized by UG and the University of Bonn and the School of American Law organized by UG and Chicago Kent College of Law. Some say that I am fluent in German and English, I also communicate in French. I became a lawyer mainly because I had liked American law-related films. It quickly turned out that the law does not look like in American TV series – it is mainly looking for holes in the whole and merging something separated.
Overtime. I would lie saying that the law is my whole life. Of course it takes most of my day. However, if I only can I train boxing or have a rehearsal with my band called Gentleman!, with which – as a guitarist, vocalist, composer and songwriter – I recorded two albums and played over 100 concerts. After a really hard day I go to the shooting range (I do not tolerate killing animals for sport or for any other reason). I like to puncture a shooting shield, e.g. during the IPSC competition.
